Killiney in South Dublin is the perfect base to explore Dublin and magnificent attractions in both Dublin and Wicklow. Killiney is one of the most scenic parts of Dublin and is just a 15 minute walk (5 minute drive) from Dalkey Village and Heritage Centre. The DART station is also located in Dalkey. In Dublin, the electric rail system called the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) is a quick and easy way to get around Dublin. It runs along the coast of the Irish Sea from Malahide or Howth in north County Dublin southwards as far as Greystones, Co Wicklow. It provides easy access to Dublin City and its coastline and allows you to discover many of the sights and attractions Dublin has to offer from sandy beaches, parks, theatres, harbour villages, museums, city shopping and much more. The DART operates every 15 minutes, all day, and its fares are great value.
